Blackbuck is the state animal of Haryana. It is also known as Indian Antelope and also a state animal of Punjab and a state animal of Andhra Pradesh. Blackbuck lives in the small forest, grassy fields, and nearby natural water sources. Along with India, Blackbuck is also found in neighboring countries Nepal and Pakistan. But it is native to India.
Male blackbucks are heavy in weight while female blackbucks are lighter in comparison with males. It has a blackish color in the upper part of the body and whitish in the lower part.
