Coronavirus Latest Update: The total number of people infected with coronavirus has increased to 131 after the 12 new cases of Covid-19 found in India. The day before on Monday this figure was 118.

The Ministry of Health gave this information on Tuesday. The ministry said that 104 Indians and 22 foreign nationals were among the patients who found infected.

According to the ministry officials, seven out of the latest cases have been reported from Maharashtra, two from Karnataka and one each from Kerala, Telangana and Odisha respectively.

Number of Death by Coronavirus in India

So far, a total of three Indians have died due to the deadly infection, out of which one has died in Delhi, one in Kalburgi in Karnataka and one in Mumbai in Maharashtra.

According to figures released by the ministry, Most infected areas are Maharashtra, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Delhi and Telangana respectively.

The Union Territory of Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir have reported four and two cases respectively. One case of coronavirus has been reported in Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu and Uttarakhand.

The Mumbai Police has implemented Section 144, while group tours have been banned. The maximum number of 16 cases have been reported in Pune.

The government issued a directive on Tuesday saying that all schools, colleges, universities, gyms, museums (museums), cultural and social centres, swimming pools and cinema houses will remain closed till 31 March.
